1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlideShowAI (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlideShowAI is a web application for creating TikTok-ready photo slideshows. The Service includes:

• AI-generated slideshow captions and layouts
• A curated library of background photos
• A feed of trending TikTok slideshow formats
• Publishing to TikTok via TikTok's official Content Posting API

3. Account Terms

To use SlideShowAI, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address or Google account
• Provide accurate account information
• Be responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Fees and Future Paid Plans

The Service is currently offered without charge. If we introduce paid plans or credits, pricing, billing, and refund terms will be published and these Terms updated before any charge is made. AI-generated content consumes third-party compute when created, so any future credit system will treat generation as final once it has run.

5. TikTok Integration Terms

When you connect your TikTok account:

• You authorize SlideShowAI to publish photo slideshows to your TikTok account, only when you explicitly request it
• You remain responsible for compliance with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• You maintain ownership of all content published through the Service
• You can revoke access at any time from within the app (Disconnect) or through TikTok's app permission settings

6. Image Library and User Responsibility

SlideShowAI provides a library of background photos sourced from Pexels under the Pexels license, which permits commercial use without attribution. Regarding these images:

• You may use library images within slideshows created on the platform, including for commercial purposes
• You may not extract, redistribute, resell, or license the library itself outside of content created with the Service
• While the library is sourced from licensed stock photography, we cannot guarantee suitability for every use case (for example, images depicting identifiable people or trademarks may carry additional restrictions in some contexts)
• You assume responsibility for the content you publish, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlideShowAI and its operators from claims arising from your published content
• We reserve the right to remove any image from the library at any time

7. AI-Generated Content

Captions and slideshow copy are generated by artificial intelligence based on your prompts. AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it. Trend insights shown in the app are informational and not a guarantee of performance.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or in violation of TikTok's terms, nor attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of the Service at our discretion. We will consider user feedback regarding discontinued features but are not obligated to restore them.

10. Data Storage and Account Management

We store account information and created content as described in our Privacy Policy. Unsaved drafts may be cleaned up automatically. To delete your account and associated data, email slideshowai@gmail.com.

11. Usage Terms

Commercial use of content you create is allowed. We do not currently impose fixed usage limits, but we reserve the right to apply fair-use limits to protect the Service from abuse.

12. Service Interruptions

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for interruptions of the Service or of third-party platforms it depends on, and no monetary compensation is provided for downtime.

13. Intellectual Property

The SlideShowAI name and logo are protected. You retain all rights to the content you create with the Service; you grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and publish it at your direction.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party platforms, or for outcomes of content published through them.

15. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to hold a TikTok account under TikTok's terms. Users under the age of majority should have parental consent.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which SlideShowAI's operator resides.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
